The meetings of the Angelina County Democratic Club are back in session! Reserve the first Tuesday of each month. We have some interesting and informative sessions lined up for the remainder of the year  going into 2013 and lots of work to do for the 2014 Governor election. Our American democracy works best when all citizens are informed about ALL sides of the issues and these citizens must exercise their right to an informed vote. The Angelina County Democratic Club is committed to hearing the voice of the people and working hard to ensure that your voice is heard by our government. Additionally we are involved in helping the Democratic candidates with getting their voice heard and assisting in the decimation of information to the general public. The Democratic Party as a whole is committed to keeping our nation safe and expanding opportunity for every American. That commitment is reflected in an agenda that emphasizes the strong economic growth, affordable health care for all Americans, retirement security, open, honest and accountable government, and securing our nation while protecting our civil rights and liberties. We are in a critical moment that will reverberate for generations to come. We will turn our economy around with millions of new jobs, and free ourselves from our oil dependency and invest in renewable, alternative energies. As Democrats, we will restore our civil liberties and uphold the civil rights of all; not just those of large corporations The Democratic Party is committed to winning elections at every level in every region of the country.
